Opportunity Foundation Custodial Services crews clean a total of 25 facilities throughout the Deschutes, Crook, and Jefferson tri-county area. The program assists people with disabilities by providing stable employment in supportive settings where individuals can learn work-related skills and a strong work ethic, and become more independent.

Our assembly services can help you reduce production costs. By outsourcing part of your assembly processes, you free up resources and floor space for more value-added uses. Our confidential document destruction service ensures your documents are properly destroyed. We shred documents into one-quarter inch strips, bale them and then sell the 1,000-pound bales to paper manufacturers.

The Opportunity Foundation provides confidential document destruction services to a wide range of private businesses and public agencies. Attorneys, hospitals, doctors, certified public accountants and state and local government agencies trust us with their documents.

As an employer of adults with disabilities and a Qualified Rehabilitation Facility, the Opportunity Foundation has been reviewed by the State of Oregon Department of Administrative Services and received certification to provide document destruction services for publicly funded agencies. We are also fully compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.

Recycling

The Opportunity Foundation recycles paper, plastic, and clothing. Our clothing recycling service is an outgrowth of our thrift stores in Central Oregon. Instead of dumping unsold clothing into a landfill, we send it to under-developed countries or convert it to rags. We now offer this service to other thrift shops or similar operations.

OFCO's recycling program includes recycling clothingThe Opportunity Foundation's recycling service assures your tax–deductible thrift store donation will be used and not thrown away.

The Opportunity Foundation also offers plastics recycling, including bags, shrink wrap or plastic lumber wrap. The plastic is baled and recycled, avoiding disposal in area landfills.
